I can't believe it's March already! This month's birthstone is the exquisite Aquamarine. This is one of my favorite colors, because it reminds me of those clear turquoise-blue waters you see in the Caribbean. Water always seems to bring me to a place of peace, it doesn't matter if I'm relaxing in a bathtub or laying by it on the beach. This gem's name is derived from the Roman word "aqua" water and "mare" which means sea. Aquamarine is a member of the Beryl family which includes the emerald.
