Savvy Style: Orange is hot as the Sun!

I just can't believe the weather here in the midwest. It's so cold and I am tired of seeing snow. I miss seeing the Sun and feeling the heat during the day and night. Since I know I still have a little while until the snow leaves and the bright "Orange" sun takes it's place, I decided to find some cute orange dresses, shoes and earrings to put in The Savvy Sistah Stylebook to keep me motivated until that wonderful time comes.

Everytime I hear this speech it feels like I'm standing right there with all the other people. His words had so much power and he was giving us a preview of a coming attraction.

She's Back: Whitney Houston

The 2nd annual BET Honors took place Saturday night in Washington DC and yes it was a start-studded event. This year it was hosted by talented actress Gabrielle Union and Savvy Sistah's Angela Bassett, Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blidge, Yolanda Adams,Star Jones, B. Smith and Cookie Johnson were also in attendance.

I have seen many pictures from this event but for some reason the photos of Whitney Houston stood out the most. She looks good and appears to be drug free. I believe that she still is a talented singer and will go down in history as one of the best of all times.

Although Whitney did not perform (she presented an award to Tyler Perry) she is suppose to sing for Clive Davis' pre-grammy party in February, so maybe this time "She's Back" for good.
