Savvy Hairstyle: Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson is starting to become a true chameleon when it comes to her hairstyles, and I love it. At the Grammy Awards (February 8th) she wore her hair pulled back in a sophisticated bun. And just a week later for the NAACP Image Awards she's sporting a sassy shoulder length layered hairstyle. (She also wore this same style for Clive Davis' Pre- Grammy party on February 7). But I love the versatility and how her hairstyles fit the occasion and her mood.

Savvy Style: Orange is hot as the Sun!

I just can't believe the weather here in the midwest. It's so cold and I am tired of seeing snow. I miss seeing the Sun and feeling the heat during the day and night. For years my mother would come home from work and put on one these beautiful house dresses. And every time she walked around the house, especially if we had guest visiting she always looked presentable, sophisticated and comfortable. We'll today when she wants to lounge around the house she still wears one, but they have really evolve over the years. A kaftan(sometimes spelled caftan) is worn all over the world by men and women.
